Funeral services for Lucille Stout, 94, of Brownwood, will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 17, 2015 in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
Audrey Lucille Stout passed into out Lord’s presence early Wednesday morning, May 13, 2015. She was born in Garrett’ Bluff, Lamar County, Texas on October 29, 1920 to Wilburn and Mae Matthews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Leoma and Gladys, three brothers, Calvin, Junior, and Everett, a son Bob Ransburger, a daughter Naomi Inman and her beloved husband, Don Stout.
She is survived by two daughters, Dessa Mainer and husband Perry of Georgia, Yvonne Lewis and husband Randy of Oklahoma, and two sons James Rushing and wife Annita and Jim Stout and wife Jan, all of Brownwood. She was also blessed with eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren as well as the unofficial children who knew her as Momma Rushing when she operated her day care for over twenty-five years.Condolences, memories and tributes can be left for the family at heartlandfuneralhome.net.
