Brownwood News – Tuesday was the first day for Early Voting. The turnout in Brown County was 166 on the first day.  In the last presidential election the turnout was more than 1,000 during the first two days.

In comparison, Coleman County had more early voters than Brown County.  Votes totaled 199 Tuesday in Coleman.

Early voting in Brown County is being held, for all Brown County residents, at the Elections Office, 613 N. Fisk.  Early voting hours are as follows:

 

Wednesday, February 19 through Friday, February 21 – 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Saturday, February 22 – 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Sunday, February 23 – 12:00 Noon to 5:00 pm

Monday, February 24, through Wednesday, February 26 – 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Thursday, February 27, and Friday, February 28 – 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
