Funeral services for Lorri Kae DeLaPaz, age 58, of Brownwood will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 12, 2018 at the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Greenleaf Cemetery. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM Saturday at the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel.
Lorri passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at her residence.
Lorri was born on July 12, 1960 in Rocky Ford, Colorado to James Ben and Maria Dolores (Torres) Sandoval. On January 6, 1990 she married Jorge DeLaPaz in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lorri was a homemaker and awesome at everything she did. She loved dancing, was always singing, laughing, cleaning and scaring people until they pee. She was always there for anyone in need and always lending a helping hand no matter how hard the job might have been.
Survivors include her husband Jorge DeLaPaz; son Pops DeLaPaz; daughter Daniella Ramos; Siblings James , Joni, June, James Jr., Willie and April Sandoval, Stan Trujillo and Loretta Trujillo; grandchildren Daniel and Leoanna Dominguez, Jacob and Daniella Ramos; Amerie, Ava and Lorenzo DeLaPaz and a great grandchild Aliyah Morales. Numerous nieces, nephew and other family members also survive.
