Lois Marie Moore, age 90, of Brownwood passed away Tuesday morning at Senior Care of Brownwood.
She was born September 28, 1928 in Carbon, Texas the daughter of Sam and Clara Flippo Caldwell. Shortly afterwards, they moved to Brownwood where she has lived most of her life. She was married to Thomas W. Moore in Brownwood on April 24, 1954 and he preceded her in death in 1994. She worked for JRB groceries for many years as a checker. She was a member of the Ave. D. Baptist Church for many years.
She is survived by three sons, Tommy Moore and wife Kay of Corsicana, Truett Moore and wife Kathy of Early, and Terry Moore and wife Bette of Mesquite, a brother, Alvin Caldwell of Abilene, five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, eleven brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Saturday in the Davis-Morris Chapel with burial to follow in the Fairview Cemetery near Grosvenor. Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
