Steve Bales, left, a volunteer with the American Red Cross in the Brownwood office, was presented with a Special Citation for Exceptional Volunteer Service during a Volunteer Recognition Party held Saturday, October 18 in San Angelo. Making the presentation is Joshua McDonnell, interim executive director of the Central Texas Region and volunteer services specialist.
The certificate recognizes Bales for his “sustained performance that has substantially exceeded the volunteer’s original commitment to the American Red Cross.”
