Brown County Farm Bureau Board of Directors presented 5 scholarships to graduates of local high schools on Monday, June 13th.
Students, parents and guests attended the scholarship presentation luncheon held at Underwood’s Cafeteria. Those receiving scholarships are as follows:
Charles Bettis is the grandson of Lessie Wilder and a graduate of Bangs High School, will be attending Tarleton State University this fall. Charles plans to pursue his undergraduate degree in Animal Science/Pre-Veterinary.Courtney Callaway is the daughter of Don and Cheryl Callaway and a graduate of Brownwood High School. Courtney will be attending Ranger Junior College this fall, working toward a Bachelor of Science to become a Registered Nurse.
Alex Hetzel is the daughter of Keith and Stacee Hetzel and a graduate of Brownwood High School. Alex will be attending Texas Tech University in the fall, majoring in Health Sciences with a focus on Orthopedic Surgery.
Bailey Perry is the daughter of Michael and Tracy Perry and is a graduate of Brownwood High School. Bailey will be attending Texas State University in the fall. Her degree plan will be Pre-Physcial Therapy with the goal of becoming a physical therapist.
Chasity LaShae Williams is the daughter of David and Kimberly Williams and is a graduate of Zephyr High School. Chasity will attend Ranger Junior College in the fall to pursue a career as a cosmetologist.
