Brownwood students used their artistic skills to help promote April as Child Abuse Prevention Month on Thursday, March 31, 2011.
BISD Teacher Becky Holcomb and Counselor Donna Swanger involved students from Coggin Elementary and the art department of Brownwood Intermediate to assist the Family Services Center by decorating to help promote Child Abuse Awareness during the month of April.
The students were onsite to decorate the FSC’s sidewalk and submitted ribbons that were colored to add to the Blue Ribbon Tree of Awareness. There were also some fantastic child abuse prevention posters created for display.
