A local preteen recently won a contest and got to go on a dream trip to see her favorite Christian artist in concert and enjoy a meet and greet dinner with him as well.
11-year-old Juliana Johnson won the contest to go to dinner with Brandon Heath and attend his concert on November 2nd at Spirit Fest 2013 in Corpus Christi. She sat front row and enjoyed every minute.
During the visit with Heath, Johnson’s mother Krista told Heath how Juliana introduced the family to his music and how it has touched them.
“Your music has really touched our family,” said Krista. “Your lyrics actually mean something. I’m so glad that she (Juliana) listens to Christian music only and by her own choice.”
Heath was touched by Juliana’s love of his music and he gave her a special signed vinyl edition of his new Christmas album.
