The students of Heart of Texas Martial Arts students that have been representing their academy at tournaments and have been doing an amazing job stated Tony Welker of Heart of Texas Martial Arts.
At the last tournament in Dallas, the Big “D” Nationals, HOT Martial Arts had seven people competing.
Awards earned were:
Rizonn Hendricks – 3rd sparring; 3rd forms
Joshua Wilson – Demo; 3rd sparring
Tori Unsworth – 2nd Forms
Payton Bartlet – Demo; 3rd Forms
Quaylen Lykes – 2nd AOK Forms; 2nd Sparring
Jessica Montgomery – 3rd Kung Fu Forms, 2nd Kenpo Forms, 3rd Sparring
Jake Suniga – 2nd AOK Forms; 3rd Kung Fu Forms
“All of our students went and did amazing jobs! They all gave it one hundred percent and everyone had fun!” stated Tony Welker. “Next month we are going to the Tumbleweed Tournament in Abilene.”
