Recently the Silver Sneakers ® fitness class at Fit by Faith experienced a unique work out in the new Cowboy Stadium September 14th with over 900 in attendance.
The Silver Sneakers® fitness program is specialized to fit the needs of older adults, offering an innovative blend of physical activity, healthy lifestyle and socially-oriented programming proven to reduce the health care costs of participants.
Many of the participants of the event have been Cowboy fans for years and being able to celebrate fitness with fun and friendship in this fabulous stadium was an incredible experience according to the local group.
Fit by Faith owner, Krista Johnson, along with fellow Silver Sneakers instructor for FBF, Sara Nadurata accompanied the group from Brownwood to Dallas. Other members of the group were Ann Ramsey, Karen Dodds, Nancy Stewart, Rhonda Stone, Jenny Roark and Eric & Kay Johnagin.
“We had a wonderful time and were so proud of our group and their spirit of friendship and desire to stay healthy while enjoying exercise together,” stated Kay Johnagin.
The group had, as they put it, “an amazing time at the new stadium”. They were able to work out and then tour the stadium which included getting to see the cheerleaders’ and football players’ locker room. They also posed for pictures on the 50yd line.
