Brownwood News – The number of local and area citizens responding to the 2020 U.S. Census is below state average.
According to percentages on the Census website, as of Monday morning April 27, the response rate to the Census in Texas is 48.5%. The national average is 53.2%.
Brown County – 42.3%
Coleman County – 33.4%
Comanche County – 41.5%
Callahan County – 44.7%
McCulloch County – 35.6%
San Saba County – 32%
Mills County – 27.4%
