Star of Texas Bed and Breakfast near Lake Brownwood has been honored as one of the Top 10 Romantic Inns in the World for 2011-2012 by BedandBreakfast.com.
The locally owned B & B shares this honor with worldwide destinations located in the United States, Canada, France, and Morocco.
Owners Don and Debbie Morelock were shocked and thrilled to hear the news on Tuesday.
“We are ecstatic, so honored to be among this group,” said Debbie Morelock. “We don’t consider ourselves to be a luxury B & B, but offer a place to come get away and enjoy nature right up to their door.”
Star of Texas Bed and Breakfast opened in 1998 and has been honored with numerous other awards and featured in several publications as a top bed and breakfast.
