sara2012Local author Sara Musgrove releases her new book, “Sara’s Lemonade Stand,” and invites the community to a launch party at Southside Church on Tuesday, December 18th from 6:00-8:00 PM. Hear excerpts from the book on the half-hour, enjoy a glass of lemonade, and purchase a signed copy.

“Sara’s Lemonade Stand” shares laughs, frustrations, struggles, and insights as author Sara Musgrove journeys through four years of employment, growth, finding purpose, and searching for answers. Sara and her husband Charles Musgrove have been residents of Brownwood for over ten years and are alumni of Howard Payne University. The couple own and operate a local graphic design company, and Sara teaches online classes through Liberty University. After receiving an MFA in Creative Writing, Sara began working toward her lifelong goal of becoming a writer and compiled her blog posts and journal entries to create this first book.

“It’s a gift of encouragement, wrapped in irony, humor, and a cute cover,” said Caitlyn Tidwell, Victory Life Academy’s high school drama director and speech teacher.

“Sara’s Lemonade Stand” has been published by CrossBooks Publishing, a division of Lifeway, located in Bloomington, Indiana, and is available at the Brownwood Store (located at the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce at the Depot), Hastings, Lifeway, Barnes & Noble, and several other local stores in the heart of Texas. An e-book is available at Amazon.com. Softcovers are available for $19.99, hardcovers for $37.99, and digital copies are $3.99.
