Local author, Laura Abbott, will be at Hastings bookstore on Saturday, June 16 from 11am-2pm for a book signing to celebrate the release of her second book “I Love You Infinity.”
According to her website, Abbott and her family have lived in Brownwood, Texas for about six years. She teaches writing and literature at a local university-model school, occasionally instructing Continuing Education classes at Howard Payne University, and has served on the Steering Team for MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), all the while sweating it out at Tae Bo classes on a regular basis.
Being the busy wife and mother of two beautiful little inspirations, her son and daughter have provided her with journals full of writing material. Her first book “Daddy’s Shoulders” is based on her husband and all of the marvelous adventures that her son had atop his daddy’s shoulders.
