A funeral mass for Lloyd Hebert, age 89, of, Crowley, Louisiana, formerly of Early, will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 16, 2016 at St. Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Brownwood. Burial will follow in the East End Memorial Cemetery in Stephenville under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home of Early. The rosary will be recited at 10:30 Saturday morning in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Hebert died Thursday, January 14, 2016 in Crowley, Louisiana.
Lloyd was born on November 24, 1926 in Kaplan, Louisiana to Odey and Elia (Richard) Hebert. He served his country in World War II in the US Army. Lloyd married Susie Davis on October 3, 1947 in Stephenville. Lloyd owned and operated a pipeline construction company for a number of years. He and Susie were members of St. Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was also an active member of the Early Lions Club. They had been residents of Brown County since 1960.
Lloyd is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Susie Hebert in 2009.
