Graveside Services for Lisa Lopez, age 47, of Brownwood will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2017, at Greenleaf Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.
Lisa passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017, in Abilene.
Lisa was born on April 12, 1969, to Nicholas and Paula (Elizondo) Maldonado in Port Lavaca, Texas. She worked as a CNA for several years at various nursing homes. Lisa loved to play Bingo and go dancing in her free time. She also loved her dog, Baby. Lisa was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister loved by many especially her Bingo friends, and will be dearly missed.
Lisa is survived by her children, Arthur Lopez, Angalita Salazar and husband Manual, Yolanda Ibarra and husband Frank, and Roseann Ortega and husband Enrique, III all of Brownwood; step-son, Juan Romero, Jr. of San Antonio; 11 grandchildren; mother, Paula Maldonado of Brownwood; brothers, Jose Maldonado, Ricardo Maldonado, Nicholas Maldonado, Jr.; and sisters, Maria Rodriguez and Linda Maldonado. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her father, Nicholas Maldonado; and 1 brother, Rene Maldonado.
