The Brownwood Lions Mother’s Club recognized members of the Brownwood High School Lions football teams at a banquet and awards ceremony on Monday, January 19th.
Special scholarships are presented each year at the awards ceremony. This year, the Chris Hart Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Chance Goodgion. The Debbie Ellis Scholarship went to two players this year, Colt Bertrand and Ryan Lewis.The evening began at 6:00 p.m. with a steak dinner and culminated with the awards ceremony at 7:00 p.m. with Dallas Huston as the emcee. A three-dimensional lion cake was donated to the event by Kim Combs of Flour Power Bakery.
The Lions Mother’s Club thanked parents, alumni and friends for their support of the team throughout the year.
