The Brownwood Lions basketball team concluded play on Tuesday in the Gatesville basketball tournament ending with two wins and two losses during the event.
The Lions dropped their tournament opener against Robinson 60-42 on Monday, but came back with a win later that day against Gatesville 73-62. A win on Tuesday against Burnet 50-46 sent the Lions into the consolation bracket final where they lost to Waco University 70-50.
This takes the Lions to a 10-6 record on the season.
The Lady Lions also kicked off play in the Fibermax Caprock Classic in Lubbock on Tuesday. The Lady Lions lost the first round to 5A Lubbock Coronado 57-52. The Lady Lions continue in that tournament on Wednesday afternoon when they face Lubbock Estacado at 3pm.
