All-District selections were announced Monday with the Brownwood Lions taking 28 honors and a big showing on the first team selections.
Wide Receiver Jaxon Shipley took the overall district MVP spot while defensive lineman Jorge DeLaPaz was selected as defensive MVP. In addition, the Brownwood Lions coaching staff was voted as district staff of the year.
All-district teams are selected by vote of district coaches based on player performance in district games.
