Brownwood High School Lionettes drill team members are working hard to raise funds needed by September 15, 2015 to pay for their trip to perform in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.  Several fundraisers are underway and the public is asked to give their support to the Lionettes.

A special Gives Back event will be held at Chili’s in Brownwood on Tuesday, September 1 from 5-10 PM.  Those dining at Chili’s can mention the Lionettes’ give back event, and 10% of their ticket (excluding taxes and gratuity) will be donated to the Lionettes.

Krispy Kreme doughnuts are also being sold by the Lionettes for $9 per dozen.  Orders are due by September 10th for September 11th delivery.  Contact any Lionette member to order.

A wooden cooler is also being raffled on September 14th.  Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20.  Contact any Lionette member for tickets.

The Lionettes’ largest fundraising event for the year, the Boots N Burlap shrimp boil and dance will be held on November 14th at the Grand Starz Dance Hall, located at 2323 Belle Plain in Brownwood.  Tickets are $30 each for this 21 and over event.  Dinner will be served at 7:30-8:30 PM and a dance featuring the music of Kelly Spinks & the Miles of Texas will begin at 9:30PM through midnight.  There will also be live and silent auctions.

For more information about fundraising events, purchase of tickets, to donate items for auction at the Boots N Burlap event or to donate funds for the Lionettes, please contact any Lionette member or call Stacee at 325-642-7379, Angela Agan at 325-203-3663 or Kim at 325-646-1996.

All fundraisers benefit the Lionettes to help pay for their trip to this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.  The Lionettes attended the American Dance Drill Team Camp at Southern Methodist University June 26th – June 28th where they were named All American Team of the Week for the 2nd time in Lionette history, which also includes an invitation to dance at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.
