Linda Wade Eckols, age 65 of Brownwood passed away Sunday, November 25 in a local hospital. She was born on January 2, 1947 in Dallas to Orval Lavon Wade and Juanita Ruth Wade. Ms. Eckols was a registered nurse and spent many years in health care. She was a great Nascar fan and loved her dog, Archie.
She is survived by a daughter, Angela Gaddis and husband John of Gun Barrel City, Tx., a brother Cody Wade and wife Pat of Indian Creek, as well as nieces and nephews Carla Edgett, Bubba Wade, Kristi Herrod and Jamie Richardson . She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Carl Wade.
Visitation will be held at Blaylock Funeral Home, 1914 Indian Creek Rd. in Brownwood on Monday evening from 6-8. Graveside services for Ms. Eckols will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Jordan Springs Cemetery with Terry Simmons and Bill Wells officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society. Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood is in charge of arrangements.
