Funeral Services for Linda Joyce Watson, age 62 of Early, Texas will be held 11:00 AM Monday, November 2, 2015 at the Heartland Church in Brownwood with Jason Studdard officiating. Interment will follow in the Indian Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM Sunday at the Heartland Funeral Home in Early. Mrs. Watson passed away Friday, October 30, 2015 in Early.
Linda was born on December 31, 1952 in Brownwood, Texas to Curtis Antone and Betty Murlene O’Neal Brandstetter. She was married to David Wayne Watson Sr. at the Faith Baptist Church in Brownwood in 1971. Linda was a lifetime resident of this area, was a retired Hearing Aide Dispenser and a member of the Heartland Church where she served as a Covenant Connector.
Survivors include her husband David Wayne Watson Sr. of Early; two children David Wayne Watson Jr. and wife Isabel of Brownwood and Rachel Chandler of Early; her father Curtis Brandstetter of Brownwood; siblings Diana White and husband Johnny of Mercury, Janice Horton and husband Morris of Brownwood, Tony Brandstetter and wife Tessa of Coleman, Dale Brandstetter and wife Lynn of Hutto, Betty Kay Taylor and husband Andy of Brownwood, Lorri Oswald and husband Bill of Onalaska, Texas. Four grandchildren Logan Watson-Ripley, Mario-Tre Pabon III, Payton Nelson and Emily Watson. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Linda was preceded in death by a daughter Anjanette Watson and her mother Betty Murlene Brandstetter.
