Lighthouse Hospice announces a fundraiser for Relay for Life. A toilet has been decorated to be placed in the yards of businesses and homes.
If this toilet, “Little Miss Potty Mouth”, has been delivered to your home or business, a simple donation of $50 donation for a business or $25 for a residence (made payable to the American Cancer Society) will get this toilet moved from your location to another of your choice. You can simply call when you want the toilet moved and Lighthouse Hospice will pick up the toilet and your generous donation along with directions of where to deliver “Little Miss Potty Mouth” next.
So far, it has been to Stegemoller Realtors, Brown County Abstract, 4 Corners, Erke Chiropractic, Edward D. Jones, and Doc’s in Brownwood.

“Little Miss Potty Mouth” has been keeping a journal of her travels so far. Here are some highlights.Day 1, she arrives in Brownwood at about 11:00 am and her first stop is Stegemoller’s Realtors, they were so excited to see her they took several pictures out in front of their office. She spent the rest of the afternoon visiting with her new friends and basking in the big city sun shine. She was over heard saying she thought the men at Stegemoller’s were very handsome and she was looking for a husband. The ladies at Stegemoller’s quickly sent her on her way!
Day 2, She woke to the sounds of traffic and people scurrying about, she was a little chilly as she had been left out in the cold for the night. It was late when she arrived at Brown County Abstract last night, the staff was friendly but know one invited her home for the evening, so she spent the night alone in the cold.
As the day went on the staff seemed irritated that she was in there way, they sent her to 4 Corners Gifts, were she met Judy. She loved Judy’s store, so many beautiful things to look at and she did a little shopping.
But Judy was very busy and asked her to go over to Ehrke Chiropractic Clinic, she met the staff and Judy’s husband. Little Miss was hoping Mr.. Ehrke would squeeze her in for a quick adjustment but he saw trouble in her eyes and sent her on her way.
Day 3, she arrived at the office of Edward Jones Investments, Nita Gafken greeted her and asked her to have a seat, Ryan was on the phone and would be with her shortly.
When Ryan finely came out, he was shocked to see her there and quickly excused him self. She was asked to wait out side. He left her there all night and did not show up for work the next day, Leaving the staff to wonder how Ryan knew her and when he would return. The next morning they told her she was going to visit Docks Drug Store in Brownwood.
Day 4, Little Miss Potty Mouth was relieved to get away from Ryan, she wondered, how much did the staff know about the two of them?
Doc’s Drugstore was a welcome change, every one was very friendly, they showed her around and offered her a drink.
She settled in on the front porch and watched the traffic go by. Not long after she sat down a handsome young man came out, his name was Hilton and she was smitten with him, she followed him around for the rest of the day.
Day 5, Hilton sent her to his other store Doc’s Drugstore in Early, the staff here seemed very confused, why was she there and what were they to do with her.
They asked her to sit out side the door until they figured it out, so the saga continues…
