Brownwood High School’s Lexie Lewis was named the Girls 3A Athlete of the Week- Sprints by TxRunning.com.
Lexie ran a new season best time of 24.77, placing first in the 200 Meter Dash at the Bluebonnet Relays on March 8th. With this finish, Lexie helped her team earn second place at the Bluebonnet Relays which was held at Gordon Wood Stadium.
A top athlete on her team, Lexie has earned medals twice at the state track meet. She continues to excel in her junior year as a Brownwood Lady Lion.
