CampLynnLeonarda “Lynn” Theresa Camp, 64, of Brownwood, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2012, at a local nursing facility. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Ms. Camp was cremated under the direction of Netherton Funeral Home and Cremations.

Leonarda Theresa Smart was born on October 8, 1947, in Hooper Bay Alaska to Hank Smart and Sarah Oosogh Smart. She had worked in the healthcare industry as a Nurse’s Aide at Songbird Lodge.  Lynn was a member of the Yupik Eskimo Tribe and had lived in Brownwood for many years. She will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children; Charles Lee Camp and wife Heather, of Walnut Cove North Carolina, Roger Lynn Camp and wife Tammy, of Bangs, and Glynn Ocie Camp of Brownwood; grandchildren, Vannesa, Damon, Bridget, Payton, Mollie and Dillion. She is also survived by two brothers, Anthony Smart and Frank Smart, both of Alaska.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hank and Sarah Smart, eight brothers and one sister.
