allisonLeon C. Allison passed away on August 25, 2012 at a local nursing home.  He was born on January 31, 1931 in Burkburnett, Texas to John Allison and Bernice Ferrill Allison. Leon enlisted in the Navy and retired from Boeing Aircraft after thirty-five years.  He was also a member of the North Lake Brownwood Community Church and will be remembered as a loving husband.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary Allison of Brownwood; his sons, Gary Allison of North Lake Brownwood and Carl Allison of Alabama; his step-sons, Lonnie Percival and Steven Percival, both of Brownwood, and David Percival of Kansas; his daughters, Carol Burton and Cheryl Austin, both of Kansas, and Rhonda Helms of Brownwood.  Leon is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Ron Keener officiating.  Interment will follow at the Ferrill Cemetery located in Comanche County.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  The family has asked that memorials be made to Lighthouse Hospice.  Blaylock Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Friends may sign the guestbook at www.blaylockfuneralhom.com.
