Graveside Services for Leila Kellar, age 78, of Tyler, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at the Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery with Kyle Medlock officiating, burial to follow under the direction of Davis-Morris Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Kellar passed away Sunday April 24, 2011 in Tyler.
Leila was born on February 10, 1933, in Goldthwaite, Texas, to Henry and Pearl (Letbetter) Davenport. She married Hollis Kellar who preceded her in death.
She is survived by four children, Tim Doss and wife Pam of Tyler, Nita O’Neal and husband Jerry of Brownwood, Monte Doss and wife Tammy of Blanket, and Kyle Doss and wife Debby of Lindale, Tx; step sons, Danny Kellar and wife Jean of Gilmore, and Lanny Kellar of Brownwood; grandchildren, Michelle Seelbach, Francis Clawson, Terry Doss, Josh Schulze, Nicole Schulze, Shannon Shannon, Monica Collida, Scottye O’Neal, Lacy Anderson, Trista Bernal, Courtney Greene, Cole Doss, Cade Doss, Neeley Doss, Demente Allen, Shad Allen, Leanda Caperton, Lynn Kellar, Jason Kellar, and Nicholas Kellar; 29 great grandchildren; a sister, Allie Davis of Goldthwaite; along with numerous other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a sister, Veta Wilcox; and a grandson Timmy Clawson.
