The Brownwood Area Community Garden has lease spots available for those interested. Lease applications are available at the Brownwood Public Library, or online: www.brownwoodgarden.org.
Lease fees have not changed from last year: $50/year for the general public and $25/year for residents of Brownwood Housing Authority.
30 raised beds are available each year, and applications are processed as they are received, so apply now to get growing at the Brownwood Area Community Garden!
Those applying for a lease spot at the garden will need to complete an application and mail (with payment) to the address on the application.Those applying will receive a telephone call regarding orientation, which is required of all leases. After orientation, leasees are welcome to begin their gardening.
