Lawrence “Larry” Leonard Loomis, 83, of Brownwood, left his earthly vessel to be with his Lord and Savior on January 13, 2020 in the presence of beloved family.

Memorial services will be conducted Sunday, January 19, 2020 at 2:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Jim Maxwell at Freedom Fellowship Church in Early.

Arrangements are by Davis-Morris Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Larry was born May 1, 1936, to Martin Edward and Helen Victoria (Rebhahn) Loomis in Seattle, Kind, Washington, USA. He enjoyed an abundance of life’s simple pleasures; however his worldly expeditions were his greatest joy. Larry proudly served his country enlisted in the United States Army and shall receive military honors upon his journey to the golden gates. He was a man of vast knowledge and education, who never ceased to grow in his quest to a healthier and more fulfilled lifestyle. He studied many health advancements and dedicated his time to the research, education, and foundation for finding a cure for a plethora of causes very dear to him.

Larry is survived by his wife Shirley Ann Loomis of Brownwood, children Michael Loomis and his wife Terry of Alaska, Jennifer Patunac of Alaska, Karla Loomis of New Mexico, Step-Daughter Cheryl Landers and her husband Steven of Brownwood, daughter-in-law Teresa Loomis of Brownwood, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Helen Loomis, his wife of 46 years Annalee “Lee” Myers Loomis, 3 brothers and 2 sisters, and his son Gary Loomis.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that you please choose a charitable organization to make a donation, as that is what Larry would have wished. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Morris Funeral Home in Brownwood, Texas.
