Thursday, September 27th

  • (No Time Noted) A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to an address on E. CR 411 in May in reference to an unwanted person.

Friday, September 28th

  • 10:02 a.m. A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to an address on CR 270 in Zephyr in regards to found property. The caller reported finding a cell phone on the side of the road.
  • 1:08 p.m. A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy spoke with a complainant in Brownwood regarding harassment.
  • 6:31 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Avenue A in reference to a burglary of a habitation. A possible suspect was named and the investigation is ongoing.
  • 9:02 p.m. A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to an address on Walnut Street regarding a suspicious vehicle. After further investigation the vehicle was identified as stolen. An investigation is ongoing.
  • (No Time Noted) A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy spoke with a complainant regarding charges on her credit card that were unauthorized.

Saturday, September 29th

  • 6:31 p.m. A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy spoke with a walk-in at the Law Enforcement Center regarding harassment.

Monday, October 1st

  • 3:10 a.m. A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to CR 422 in regards to a naked female walking down the road. The female was arrested for disorderly conduct.
  • 12:40 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to a domestic disturbance at a south Brownwood address.
  • 1:06 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Vincent Street regarding a domestic disturbance. One subject was arrested for Interference with Emergency Request for Assistance, as well as Resisting Arrest.
  • 8:34 p.m. Brownwood Police made a pedestrian stop of an intoxicated subject. This person was then transported to the Brown County Jail and charged with Public Intoxication.
  • (No Time Noted) A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy stopped a black Dodge pickup on Boyette Drive for failure to signal turning. The driver, identified in the report as Dakota Michael Cross, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, PG 1 < 1 gram, and Driving While License Invalid with a Previous Conviction.
