Sunday, August 19th
- 1:34 p.m. A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy resounded to an address on Monghan Drive for a theft. The complainant advised a table saw and other items had been stolen from the residence.
- 3:30 p.m. A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to Tipperary regarding a disturbance. The complainant advised a female suspect had broken a window resulting in approximately $200 in damages. The suspect was arrested for criminal mischief.
- 7:01 p.m. A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy resounded to N. US 183 for a theft. According to the report, a phone had been stolen.
Monday, August 20th
- (No time noted) A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy spoke with a complainant in Brownwood regarding a burglary. According to the report, an estimated value of $2,500 worth of jewelry had been stolen from the residence.
- (No time noted) Brown County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to an address on Belfast in regards to a 911 hang-up. During the incident, a female started to have heart problems. While emergency medical personnel were in route to the residence, the female rolled off her couch and onto the floor where she began kicking, screaming, and swinging her arms around. Deputies had to physically hold the female down and cuff her to keep her from hurting herself and others. Through investigation it was determined the female threatened to kill a male in the residence with a knife. The woman was placed in custody for Aggravated Assault Family/Household Violence with Deadly Weapon. She was transported to Brownwood Regional Medical Center, and afterward she was transported to Brown County Jail.
- 12:50 p.m. A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to an address on CR 615 regarding an animal bite. The complainant explained a dog had bitten her while she was jogging.
- 7:49 p.m. A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to an address on CR 564 regarding an assault. The complainant told the deputy someone had thrown a beer bottle at him while he was driving.
Tuesday, August 21st
- 12:09 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Avenue B in reference to a burglary.
- 11:34 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to an active domestic disturbance in the 700 block of Cedar Street.
- 3:58 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Indian Creek in reference to an assault.
Wednesday, August 22nd
- 1:37 a.m. Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop on a black passenger car for failing to display front license plate in the 1400 block of Coggin Avenue. A juvenile was issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia.
