Thursday, August 9th

  • (No time noted) Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Simpson responded to US HWY 84/183 in regards to a damaged mailbox. The complainant told the deputy he did not wish to pursue charges. According to the report, the deputy was later notified that the license plate found on the scene belonged to Isac Bart Long. Brownwood Police requested a supplement report, as Long was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated on August 8th.

Friday, August 10th

  • 6:57 a.m. Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of Woodridge Street for an unrestrained dog. Citations were issued for the dog being off lease and not current on vaccinations.
  • 8:42 a.m. Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Bastardo was dispatched to N US 279 in regards to theft. The store manager explained to the deputy a white male subject walked out of the business with items without paying.
  • 3:59 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to a north Brownwood address for theft.
  • 10:04 p.m. Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop after the driver failed to signal their intent to turn. According to the report, 32 year old Fernando Santos Perez was arrested for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon in a Weapons Free Zone.
  • (No time noted) Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Simpson spoke to a walk-in complainant who stated a suspect had not paid for professional services provided.

Saturday, August 11th

  • 8:30 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Avenue J regarding suspicious activity. Police spoke with the home owner about bottles of gas on the front lawn.
  • 8:30 a.m. Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Bastardo was dispatched to CR 551 in Brownwood regarding a theft. According to the complainant a tenant had moved out of the property and stolen a window AC unit.
  • 12:25 p.m. Brownwood Police were called to 16th Street and Avenue E for two dogs at large. The owner was issued citations.
  • 2:47 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to a south Brownwood location regarding a domestic disturbance.

Sunday, August 12th

  • 7:20 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to a south Brownwood residence regarding a domestic disturbance.
  • 9:28 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to a south Brownwood residence regarding a domestic disturbance.
  • 1:40 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the Law Enforcement Center to speak with a complainant regarding an assault.
  • 8:27 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Oakland Drive in reference to an incident of indecent exposure. According to reports, officers arrested  61 year old David Arthur Mosman for Possession of a Controlled Substance, less than one gram, in a Drug Free Zone.
  • 9:15 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3600 block of Rhodes Road in reference to a theft.
