A Brownwood teen who was involved in a one-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon has been arrested on multiple charges in connection with the accident including driving while intoxicated.
Brownwood Police arrested 17-year-old Jeffrey Don Beck for driving while intoxicated, possession of a dangerous drug, and possession use inhale/ingest volatile chemical. When police arrived at approximately 1:42pm, Beck was passed out behind the wheel, according to police reports. Beck was transported to the hospital for evaluation and arrested when released from medical care.
Beck crashed the Nissan sedan into the wrought iron fence at 1902 Austin Avenue, narrowly missing two mature trees. A section of the fence was damaged and the Nissan sustained minor damage.In other unrelated arrests and reports released Thursday, October 17, 2012.

*12:08pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of W. Commerce regarding fraud. According to the report, a counterfeit $10 bill was passed at Ace Cash Express.
*5:25pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Avenue B regarding a missing juvenile. According to the report, the complainant stated that her foster child was missing and could not be located.
*8:17pm-Brownwood Police made a stop in the 2200 block of Southside Drive. This stop led to the arrest of the driver, Troy Eaton Jr. for Possession of a Controlled Substance, according to the report.
