Tuesday, September 1
*6:05 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that a cell phone was possibly stolen at a business in this location.
Wednesday, September 2
*4:04 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a business in the 1500 block of Coggin Avenue regarding an assault. According to the report, the parties involved claimed the other person to be at fault and the incident is pending further investigation.
Friday, September 4
*7:14 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a south Brownwood residence regarding a missing person.
*10:59 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 1000 block of San Benito Drive. This stop led to the arrest of 42-year-old Bryan Thomas Calvert of Brownwood for an active warrant and for driving with no driver’s license 3rd or more.
*12:37 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding a known suspect violating a protective order.
*4:19 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of Belle Plain regarding a welfare check and possibly the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. According to the report, the suspect, identified as 26-year-old Alana Bynog of Euless, was located and subsequently arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
*7:07 PM – Brownwood Police received a report of regarding credit/debit card abuse which occurred in the 100 block of Market Place Blvd.
*11:45 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the area of 3rd Street and Indian Creek Drive on the vehicle for driving with no headlights during night time hours. This call led to the arrest of the driver, 28-year-old Bradley Black of Blanco, for driving while intoxicated.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 50-year-old Troy Dean Glaeske of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to revoke/burglary of a coin operated machine.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36-year-old Rocky Gordon Martinez of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to revoke enforcement child support.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old Robert Mendoza of San Angelo on a surety withdrawal related to possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
*36-year-old Roberta Juanita Wright of Brownwood for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
Saturday, September 5
*1:45 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Borden Street regarding an incident of indecency with a child.
*11:56 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 700 block of Melwood regarding the burglary of a building. According to the report, an unknown suspect entered the building through a broken window and removed property belonging to the business. An investigation is ongoing, the report states.
*Brownwood Police responded to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding theft. According to the report, an unknown subject entered a community building and removed food items without the owner’s consent.
*3:14 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2800 block of Southside Drive regarding theft. According to the report, a juvenile male was reported to have stolen a bag of Lifesaver candies.
*4:26 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2700 block of Good Shepherd Drive regarding theft.
*4:53 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 300 block of E. Commerce Street regarding a motor vehicle accident. According to the report, one of the drivers, identified as 33-year-old David Jason Newman of Brownwood, was found to be driving while his license was expired, and he was subsequently arrested and charged with driving while license invalid with previous conviction/suspension without financial responsibility.
*Brownwood Police arrested 47-year-old Michael Don Fitzgerald of Dublin on a warrant related to public intoxication.
*Brown County sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old Christopher Jay Hill of May for assault causes bodily injury.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 24-year-old Brandon Rhodes of Lockheart for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 59-year-old Patricia Rhodes of Brownwood for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 54-year-old Roy Alan Rhodes of Brownwood for tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Ryan Michael Schwab of Brownwood for tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*Brownwood Police arrested 43-year-old Brian Warren Wellsandt of Brownwood on a pardons and parole warrant.
*Early Police arrested 29-year-old Justin Tyler Williams of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated 2nd and driving while license invalid with previous conviction/suspension without financial responsibility.
Sunday, September 6
*1:01 AM – Brownwood Police were flagged down by a male subject in the 1600 block of Coggin Avenue regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, the male stated that he and his girlfriend had been in an argument that became physical. After a brief investigation, 30-year-old Gracie Salazar of Brownwood was arrested for the offense of assault causes bodily injury family violence.
*1:36 AM – Brownwood Police were called to a residence on Alpine Court regarding the theft of a motor vehicle.
*7:21 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 900 block of Cordell Street. According to the report, this stop led to the discovery of two separate controlled substances located in the vehicle and the arrest of 31-year-old Anthony Deluca of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone and penalty group 3 less than 28 grams in a drug free zone.
*11:03 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2800 block of Southside Drive regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that an unknown person stole her Confederate flag.
*2:26 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room regarding a hit and run accident. According to the report, the complainant stated she had been run over by a vehicle in the drive-through of a north Brownwood business while she was working the drive-through, taking an order to the second lane of customers and as she returned to the restaurant, the driver of a car in the first lane drove over the top of her foot. The driver of the vehicle apologized to her as she limped into the restaurant but failed to make sure she was okay and did not provide the required identification or insurance information to the victim before he drove away from the restaurant, the report states. She was unable to provide a license number or detailed description of the male other than he was driving a green 2-door Dodge pickup and described as an older white male, approximately 55-years-old, with short brown hair and a mustache, according to the report. Because the victim is a minor, her mother wished to pursue charges against the man on her behalf, for leaving the scene of an accident without providing the required information or checking on her daughter, the report states.
*5:52 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of 1st Street regarding the theft of a car seat. A suspect is known, the report states.
*7:19 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Brady Avenue regarding the burglary of a vehicle which had occurred within the past week.
*11:28 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of Avenue C regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, the suspect had left the scene.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Stevanna Black of Brownwood for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Kendra Leigh Byars of Brownwood for assault causes bodily injury family violence.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 29-year-old Sherri Dawn Walker-Stevens on a Callahan County warrant related to theft of property equal or greater than $20 less than $500 by check.
Monday, September 7
*9:14 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Sharp Street regarding an assault. According to the report, the assault took place at a residence in the area and a report of aggravated robbery and criminal mischief was taken.
*7:19 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the area of Austin Avenue and Fisk Street regarding a hit and run accident.
*7:23 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Austin Avenue regarding theft.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 41-year-old Stephanie Sue Barr of Zephyr on a warrant related to possession of a controlled substance by fraud.
