*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met with a complainant regarding the process to obtain a demolisher title for a wrecked vehicle.
Monday, September 5
*9:43 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1400 block of Avenue E regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the complainant’s vehicle had been damaged.
Tuesday, September 6
*10:52 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to County Road 564 regarding an unwanted person. According to the report, a male subject was issued a criminal trespass warning for the above address as a result of this call.
*3:52 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of W. Commerce regarding the theft of a motor vehicle. According to the report, a 2014 Chrysler 200, valued at $15,000, was stolen from the car lot.
*5:27 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3300 block of Stephen F. Austin regarding theft. According to the report, a window air conditioning unit and a compact refrigerator were stolen from the property.*11:55 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2400 block of 10th Street regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 22-year-old Wyatt Thomas Hughes of Brownwood for assault causes bodily injury/family violence/by strangulation.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Robert Gray Hallum of Brownwood for manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal to or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams.
*27-year-old Corey Lynn Walker turned himself in on Mills County warrants related to motion to adjudicate/possession of a controlled substance, motion to adjudicate/cruelty to nonlivestock animal, and motion to adjudicate/discharge firearm, and on a Comanche County warrant for surety withdrawal/driving while license invalid. Walker was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $75,000 as of Wednesday morning.
Wednesday, September 7
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Sabrina Ann Sheffler of May for assault causes bodily injury.
