Monday, September 28

*8:21 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3300 block of 1st Street regarding criminal mischief.

*8:04 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Vine Street regarding an assault causing bodily injury related to family violence.  According to the report, there were no arrests made at the time of the assault.

Tuesday, September 29

*4:17 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of W. Commerce regarding theft.  According to the report, an unknown suspect drove off without paying for several gallons of gasoline.

*5:48 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop on a dirt bike he had observed driving south on Highway 279.  According to the report, the deputy recognized the driver of the bike to be 30-year-old Christopher Lee Taylor of Brownwood, who he knew had a suspended driver’s license.  After verifying the suspension, Taylor was arrested for driving while license invalid/failure to maintain financial responsibility.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of forgery.  According to the report, the complainant stated she had written a check from her local bank account and placed it in her mailbox on County Road 147.  The check was allegedly stolen from her mailbox, altered and then passed at a gas station in the 400 block of W. Commerce in Brownwood.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 29-year-old Brooke Nicole Brand of Brownwood on warrants related to no driver’s license, ran stop sign and failure to appear.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 48-year-old Jose Luis Segovia, Sr. of Brownwood on a warrant related to expired registration.

*Brownwood Police arrested 27-year-old Charles Austin Shaw of Brownwood on warrants related to violate promise to appear and ran stop sign.
