Tuesday, September 1
*5:39 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s Office deputy was dispatched to a residence on Jane Ellen Drive regarding a disturbance. According to the report, the complainant stated that a friend had come to his residence intoxicated and began throwing things around. The victim stated that the suspect threw some hamburger meat at him, the report states. 33-year-old Rebecca Grace Bacon of Brownwood was arrested to prevent any further violence from occurring, according to the report.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of theft of livestock. According to the report, the complainant stated that one of his heifers has been missing for the past two months and he believes she may have been stolen.
Wednesday, September 2
*12:09 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on Waco Street regarding a weapons offense. The complainant stated that two known suspects entered his residence and one of the men pointed a gun at the complainant and threatened him, according to the report.
*10:30 AM – Brownwood Police were called to a residence on Cindy Cove regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, the home was burglarized while the owners were out of town.*5:23 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met with a complainant regarding an incident of fraud. According to the report, the complainant was a representative of a large fireworks company in Bastrop, Texas and had sold fireworks to two complainants to sell at a fireworks stand in Brown County. The credit card the two suspects gave the fireworks company did not initially get approved and the pair gave a code to force approval of the $5,565.16 transaction, the report states. The code worked and the transaction went through; however, on January 1, 2015, the $5,565.16 was deducted from the company’s account as a charge back, according to the report.
*8:50 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of Good Shepherd regarding theft. According to the report, sometime between August 30th and this date, the complainant’s credit/debit card had been stolen and used for purchases as well as money withdrawals from the account. An investigation is ongoing, the report states.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 53-year-old Dennis Dwayne Bradley of Brownwood on a warrant related to theft of firearm enhanced and unlawful possession of a firearm.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Lacie Renee Hayes of Brownwood on Class C theft.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Ivan Gary Lopez of Gustine on a warrant related to manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Dan Lorin Rose of Coleman on a warrant related to motion to revoke/aggravated assault with deadly weapon.
*Brownwood Police arrested 20-year-old Devyn Payge Nikole Stevens of Brownwood on a warrant related to two counts of burglary of a habitation.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 22-year-old Sergio Alberto Vasquez-Cardona of Goldthwaite on a Mills County warrant related to duty on striking unattended vehicle.
Thursday, September 3
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 50-year-old Julie Inez Gotcher of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated.
