Thursday, August 29

*2:29 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1800 block of Vincent Street regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, a male and female both claimed to have been assaulted by the other.  Both parties were separated at the scene, the report states.

*5:15 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of 7th Street regarding an assault.  According to the report, the complainant stated that she had been assaulted by her boyfriend, later identified as Dal Williams.  Visible injuries were present and Williams was subsequently arrested for assault the report states.

Friday, August 30

*9:38 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2500 block of Crockett Drive regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the complainant’s front driver’s side window had been broken by an unknown suspect while it was parked at the location.  The offense was believed to have occurred between 7:00 AM and 9:30 AM on this date, the report states.

*6:18 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 1900 block of Vincent Street regarding terroristic threat.  According to the report, the suspect had left prior to officer’s arrival.  Several witnesses reported that the suspect came in the front yard of the residence had a machette and threatened he was going to “kill everyone,” the report states.  One witness stated that he took the machete away and threw it in the back of the complainant’s vehicle and the complaint then got in it and drove away, according to the report.  Officers searched the area and could not locate the suspect or the suspect’s vehicle.

*6:36 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of E. Commerce regarding an unwanted person.  According to the report, the known subject came onto the property and refused to leave; however was not present at the time of the officer’s arrival.  The suspect has a current criminal trespass warning for the property according to the report.

*10:22 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1800 block of 8th Street regarding trespassing.  According to the report, a relative of the homeowner had been previously issued a criminal trespass warning for the property in the past; however had come to the property and left the property approximately 20 minutes before law enforcement had been notified.

*10:44 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office was assisting Adult Probation officers at a location on Early Blvd and made contact with a 25-year-old male who was hiding behind the dumpsters at the address.  According to the report, the subject was found to be in possession of duster, an inhalant volatile chemical, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The male subject, identified as Daniel Richard Yanez, was arrested and charged with possess use inhale ingest volatile chemical.

*Brownwood Police arrested 44-year-old Jerry Wayne Nickerson on a warrant related to a parole violation/assault.

*Brownwood Police arrested 19-year-old Brian Thomas on a warrant for unauthorized use of a vehicle.

Saturday, August 31

*1:17 PM – Brownwood Police received a report from Eastland County Sheriff’s Office regarding a subject who had been served divorce decree papers in Eastland County and had made threats that he was going to “finish the job,” so ECSO wanted to let Brown County Sheriff’s Office know the threat had been made against a resident in the county because of the subject’s actions.

*3:00 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart regarding theft.  According to the report, a female was reported have walked out of the store without paying for merchandise by store employees.  The incident is under investigation.

*9:08 PM – A Brownwood Police officer made a traffic stop on a pickup which resulted in the driver, identified as 21-year-old Nicholas Castenada of Bangs, being arrested for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*9:24 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 800 block of Bailey Street regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that a 10,000 BTU window air conditioning unit valued at $500 had been stolen out of one of his rent houses.  No suspect information was available at the time of the report.

*10:31 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding theft.  According to the report, a suspect was detained by store loss prevention employees, the stolen merchandise was recovered and photographed.  The suspect was issued a citation for theft less than $50 and released at the scene, the report states.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 28-year-old Stephanie Michelle Garza on a Taylor County warrant for theft of property by check.

*Early Police arrested 42-year-old Jimmy Edward Johnson for driving while license invalid and possession of drug paraphernalia.

*Brownwood Police arrested 20-year-old Orion Peters on a Bexar County warrant related to bond forfeiture/assault public servant.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old Saul Salvador Sanchez on warrants related to driving while license invalid and violate promise to appear.

*Bangs Police arrested 41-year-old Roger Thomison of Bangs on a warrant related to motion to revoke related to community supervision.

*Bangs Police arrested 17-year-old Charles Anthony Conger of Bangs for criminal trespass.

Sunday, September 1

*12:54 AM – A Brownwood Police officer on patrol in the 700 block of Fisk Avenue observed a pickup drive over center.  According to the report, the officer initiated a traffic stop in the area of Austin Avenue and Avenue C.  An investigation led to the arrest of 29-year-old Rick Vargas for driving while intoxicated 2nd.

*1:18 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Avenue C regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, as a result of this call, a subject identified as 26-year-old Kelcey Marie Sparks was arrested for failure to identify, resisting arrest and assault with injury family violence.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 48-year-old Bobby Clay Browne on a Callahan County warrant related to motion to revoke/assault.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop on Hwy 183.  According to BCSO officials, several grams of methamphetamine were found in the vehicle.  The investigation led to information that determined the driver, identified as 51-year-old John Phillip Couch, had been selling methamphetamine, according to sheriff’s officials.  Couch was arrested, charged with manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams, and taken to the Brown County Jail and later released on $100,000 bond.  According to BCSO officials bond was set high due to Couch’s previous record of arrests (3 in the past year) and having been to prison a few times.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 49-year-old Ricky Martin of Parker Heights for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces and driving while license invalid.

*Brownwood Police arrested 28-year-old Jamie Santana Martinez on multiple warrants related to failure to maintain financial responsibility, speeding, ran stop sign, violate driver’s license restriction, and unrestrained child-safety seat.

Monday, September 2

*12:20 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart regarding trespassing.  According to the report, a male subject was located and issued a criminal trespass warning for the store at the request of employees.

*6:30 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3500 block of Durham Avenue regarding the theft of money.  According to the report, the victim stated that a family member had taken $400 from the victim’s wallet while the victim was retrieving her children from their father’s residence.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Ceaser Chamorro of McKinney for possession of a dangerous drug.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 27-year-old Deniz Marie Pinkerton of Lubbock for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams and possession of a dangerous drug.

Tuesday, September 3

*A Brown County Deputy was dispatched to County Road 602 regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, the complainant advised that she had been assaulted by her 23-year-old daughter.   23-year-old Alisha Leann Dobbins for assault causes bodily injury family violence.
