Friday, September 20
*10:15 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of W. Commerce regarding an accident involving a hit and run.
*12:15 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of W. Commerce regarding assault by threat. The incident is pending investigation, the report states.
Saturday, September 21
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the burglary of a home on County Road 204. According to the deputy’s report, there was extensive damage to the home.
Monday, September 23
*10:29 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 600 block of N. Center Avenue regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report stolen, items included a purse, wallet, cell phone, a debit card, prescription medication, $40 cash and a driver’s license.*10:42 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of Austin Avenue regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the complainant stated that the passenger mirror of her vehicle had been broken by her ex-boyfriend. Estimated cost for the repair is $200 and the complainant did wish to pursue charges, the report states.
Tuesday, September 24
*8:37 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Magnolia regarding a disturbance. According to the report, the female complainant stated that an unknown male threatened her with physical harm. The complainant wished to pursue criminal charges if the suspect can be identified, the report states.
Wednesday, September 25
*12:20 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1100 block of Holcomb Street regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, a couple who had been living together for approximately three months had become involved in a domestic disturbance. Both subjects stated that they had been assaulted by the other, the report states. The female subject stated that the male had destroyed her cell phone, according to the officer’s report. A report was filed for assault family violence and criminal mischief.
*2:31 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Commerce, Wal-Mart, regarding theft. According to the report, two females were found to have attempted to walk out of the store without paying over $500 worth of items that they selected while they were in the store. This call led to the arrest of Tamara Patterson and Aimee Hughes for theft equal or greater than $500 less than 1500.
*6:58 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of Bluffview Drive regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that someone removed $25 from her wallet and a possible suspect was named.
*10:12 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that her car had been burglarized while parked at 401 W. Commerce, Wal-Mart. The complainant stated that she thought she had locked her vehicle prior to entering the business and when she returned she found that someone had entered her vehicle without consent and stolen $40 from her wallet, which was inside the vehicle, the report states.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on Gobbler Hollow regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had burglarized his home, and that several items were taken from his boat which was inside the garage. The estimated value of items stolen is $2100 and the complainant wishes to pursue criminal charges, the report states.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Dustin Cates Baker of Bruceville for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone.
*Brownwood Police arrested 22-year-old Mandy Mae Barker of DeLeon on a warrant related to theft.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36-year-old Jimmy Lee Dudley, Jr. on a warrant related to theft of services equal or greater than $500 less than $1500.
*Brownwood Police arrested 42-year-old Aimee Patterson Hughes of Early for theft of services equal or greater than $500 less than $1500 and theft of property equal or greater than $500 less than $1500.
*Brownwood Police arrested 66-year-old Tamara Turner Patterson for theft of services equal or greater than $500 less than $1500.
*Brownwood Police arrested 32-year-old Saul Salvador Sanchez on warrants related to theft class C and failure to appear.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Mary Lou Hernandez of San Saba on a warrant on motion to revoke/possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.
