Wednesday, September 21

*9:45 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 100 block of E. Commerce regarding fraud involving prescriptions of controlled substances.

Thursday, September 22

*9:58 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Calvert Road regarding a student at Brownwood Middle School being found in possession of marijuana during a routine sweep by a “drug dog.”  The juvenile was arrested for possession of marijuana and was taken to the Brownwood Police Department for processing and then transferred to the Juvenile Detention Center.

*10:22 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 700 block of W. Commerce regarding an assault.  An investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*8:37 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on CR 620 in Blanket, Texas regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, the complainant reported a relative had arrived at her home in an intoxicated state and began verbally arguing with her.  The complainant had a strong odor of alcohol coming from her breath, according to the report. As a result of this call, the complainant, identified as 43-year-old Cynthia Betty Hodges of Blanket, was placed under arrest after an attempt to get her a ride to prevent her from harming herself or others, according to the deputy’s report.

*10:23 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the area of 1st Street and Avenue C.  According to the report, drug paraphernalia was discovered in the vehicle resulting in the two occupants each being issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on Starboard Drive regarding the theft of a firearm.  According to the report, the complainant stated he had just discovered his Russian Makarov 9mm semi-automatic pistol was missing.  A possible suspect was named and the complainant stated that the pistol had been replaced with an air pistol, which basically had the same shape and weight of the stolen pistol.

*Brown County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a residence on Avenue C in Brown County regarding a request for a trespass warning to be issued to a subject.   According to the report, the resident/complainant said she was tired of arguing with the subject.  The subject was located at his home and issued the criminal trespass warning.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44-year-old Troy Wendell Cloud of Mesquite, Texas on a warrant related to theft of property greater than $20 less than $500 by check.

*Bangs Police arrested 19-year-old Steven Allen Edgar of Brownwood on a warrant related to criminal trespass.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 37-year-old Randall Jefferson Frink of Brownwood on warrants related to failure to appear/assault against public servant, failure to appear/assault family violence, and on surety withdrawals for terroristic threat against public servant and burglary of a habitation.  Frink was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $73,000 as of Friday morning.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Shayla Marie Oliver of Bangs, Texas on a warrant related to failure to appear/possession of a controlled substance.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 30-year-old Jessica Lee Ann Walston of Brownwood on a warrant related to manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone.  Walston was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond as of Friday morning.

Friday, September 23

*Brownwood Police arrested 43-year-old Stephen Michael Westerman of Brownwood on a warrant related to criminal nonsupport.
