Saturday, September 17

*10:28 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of 9th Street to assist Child Protective Services in the 1500 block of 1st Street.  According to the report, this call led to a report of possession of a dangerous drug.

*11:02 AM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding theft of property.  According to the report, a few power tools, battery packs and a shop vacuum were stolen from the property.

*2:43 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Indian Creek Drive regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, a cell phone and tablet were stolen from the vehicle.

Monday, September 19

*2:37 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Vincent Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, a tablet was stolen from the vehicle sometime on Sunday, September 17th.  An investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*6:41 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3700 block of Golding Road regarding an assault which happened on Sunday morning.  According to the report, the suspect is the victim’s friend and the victim was unsure if he wanted to pursue charges. Photos of the victim’s injuries were taken and the incident was documented, the report states.

*9:15 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding harassment.  According to the report, the complainant stated that he and his family were having an ongoing problem with his ex-brother-in-law.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s sergeant was dispatched to a residence on Day Trail regarding a possible burglary.  According to the report, the complainant stated that nothing was missing from inside the residence; however, the incident was documented.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of credit/debit card abuse.  Possible suspects were named, the report states.

Tuesday, September 20

*1:30 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 700 block of W. Commerce regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, a door on the property was damaged sometime between Friday, September 16th and Saturday, September 17th.

*2:16 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Vincent Street regarding theft.

*Brownwood Police arrested 34-year-old Christopher Appleton of Brady, Texas on a parole warrant.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 29-year-old Aleixa Flores of Brownwood on a warrant related to failed to yield right of way.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy responded to an unwanted person at a property on Oak Street in Early, Texas.  According to the report, the complainant reported that a known suspect was on her property and he was not wanted there.  The suspect had fled the scene prior to the deputy’s arrival; however, the complainant requested a criminal trespass warning be issued to the subject, the report states.  According to the deputy, the warning was issued to the subject on September 21, 2016.

Wednesday, September 21

*7:59 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the area of 10th Street and Asbury.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 30-year-old Librada Ann Campos of Brownwood for driving while license invalid and no insurance

*8:01 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 700 block of Almond Street regarding theft.  According to the report, a piece of jewelry and a few credit cards were stolen from the property.

*8:52 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Belle Plain Street regarding theft of property.  According to the report, a suspect had stolen an 18-pack of beer from the business.

*10:07 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding an assault.  According to the report, the complainant stated that she was assaulted by her boyfriend’s mother.

*Early Police arrested 28-year-old Raymundo Banda of Early, Texas for possession of drug paraphernalia, no driver’s license, failure to maintain financial responsibility, and on warrants related to failure to appear and no driver’s license.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 47-year-old Tina Lucille Banford of May, Texas on a warrant related to possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 22-year-old Dequon Cole of Brownwood on a warrant related to theft over $50 less than $500.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 45-year-old Horace Edgar McMahon, Jr. of May, Texas on a parole warrant.

Thursday, September 22

*Brownwood Police arrested 27-year-old Nolberto Martinez, Jr. of Brownwood on two warrants related to assault by threat.
