*8:58 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a local pawn shop in the 500 block of E. Commerce regarding theft. According to the report, electronic equipment and tools were stolen in the offense.
Sunday, September 20
*11:52 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to County Road 271 regarding a hit and run. According to the report, two complainants stated that someone had run through the fences of each of their properties.
Monday, September 21
*4:21 AM –Brownwood Police arrested Quentin Sapp for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*8:24 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of 11th Street regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, the resident stated that a teen was in his house and had left on a bicycle down Avenue E. An investigation determined that the subject intended to steal a flat screen television but was caught in the act by the owner, the report states. The subject, who stole several other items from the home, was later located hiding in a trash can and confessed to entering the victim’s residence to steal the television, according to the report. As a result of this call, the suspect, identified as 21-year-old Estevan Frias, Jr., was arrested for burglary of a habitation and the stolen items were recovered, according to police.*9:35 AM – Brownwood Police were called to a residence on Azalea Drive regarding fraud. According to the report, the complainant reported an unknown subject had charged $335.80 to her Valero credit card.
*10:52 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to County Road 316 regarding illegal dumping. According to the report, several mattresses, box springs, a couch and a loveseat were dumped on the side of the roadway. No suspect information was available, the report states.
*1:16 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding theft. According to the report, an investigation led to the issuance of a citation to a male suspect for theft less than $100.
*3:57 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on FM 45 West regarding the burglary of a building. According to the report, the total value of the items stolen during the burglary was estimated to be approximately $2570. An investigation led to a suspect being identified, according to the deputy’s report.
*36-year-old Elaina Aguirre of Brownwood was arrested on a warrant related to motion to revoke/driving while license invalid.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Payden Blaine Blackburn of Brownwood for resisting arrest, search or transport and driving while license invalid.
*Brownwood Police arrested 32-year-old Jayme Cheshire of Brownwood on a warrant related to a probation violation.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 57-year-old Gerald Dan Cupp of Brownwood on warrants related to failure to appear/possession of marijuana (Brown County), failure to appear/driving while license invalid (Bandera County), driving while license invalid (Brown County), and violate promise to appear (Brown County).
*Brownwood Police arrested 28-year-old Brittney Wyanne Meador of Brownwood on four Comanche County warrants related to forgery of a financial instrument and a Taylor County warrant related to a surety withdrawal for theft of property by check.
Tuesday, September 22
*12:53 AM – Brownwood Police were called to multiple areas regarding gun shots in the area. The location of the shots was finally determined to be near Avenue L and 8th Street, according to the report.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35-year-old Cody Russell Labruyere of Brookesmith for driving while intoxicated 3rd or more.
