Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Tuesday, September 21, 2010

Friday, September 17

*As a result of an investigation by the Early Police Department, 18-year-old Tresta Lanae Donahoo turned herself in to authorities on charges of Sexual Assault of a Child.  She was released on $25,000 bond. 

Sunday, September 19

*4:15pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3200 block of 4th Street regarding a stolen vehicle.  The vehicle was captured on surveillance video being stolen from Waldrop Construction at 5:02am.  A subject who was approximately 6 feet tall and wearing a cowboy hat was also captured on the video entering the parking lot about a minute before the vehicle was stolen.  No arrest or known suspect information was available at the time of the report.

Monday, September 20

*6:46pm-A Brownwood Police officer was making a traffic stop at Austin and Irma after observing a passenger failing to wear a seat belt.  The driver of vehicle was identified as 19-year-old Melissa Ann Williams who was determined to have a suspended driver’s license and no liability insurance according to police reports.   Williams was arrested for Driving While License Invalid.  A search of the vehicle was conducted incident to the arrest.  During the search, an open bottle of alcohol was located under the passenger seat and a bag of marijuana was found under the rear passenger seat.  The back seat passenger, identified as 28-year-old Andrew Joseph Harvey, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and the front seat passenger was issued a citation for open container and released at the scene.

*10:37pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of Avenue H regarding a report of criminal mischief, more than $50, less than $500.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36-year-old Isabel Rios Arriaga for Stalking, Criminal Mischief, and Reckless Driving.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Evlyn Kathryn Kelly for Public Intoxication.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 57-year-old Monty Jack Reid for Endangering a Child and Assault Causing Bodily Injury.

*BrownwoodPolice arrested 22-year-old Monica Nicole Smith for Driving While License Invalid.

Tuesday, September 21

*12:50am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Duke Street.  A complainant had stated hearing a man’s voice.  Officers proceeded to an area under a nearby bridge where they observed a subject, identified as 36-year-old Fabian Gomez, lying under the bridge.  Police reports state that Gomez had gold paint on his face and hands.  Gomez was led out from under the bridge and arrested for Possession Use of Inhalant without incident.

*2:32am-Brownwood Police were called to the 1800 block of 8 ½ Street regarding an unwanted subject.  The officer spoke with the complainant who lives at the address.  She explained that a named subject has been continuously harassing the complainant’s son, and causing problems at the address over the past several weeks.  The complainant had been wakened at 2:30am by a loud banging on her son’s bedroom window, which was the subject trying to wake the complainant’s son.  Both the complainant and her son requested that a criminal trespass warning be issued to the subject.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
