Wednesday, September 18

*2:13 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3000 block of US Hwy 377 South regarding credit card abuse, theft by check and forgery.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the offenses were committed by an employee.  The investigation is ongoing, the report states.

Thursday, September 19

*7: 14 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart, 401 W. Commerce, regarding the theft of an iPhone.  According to the report, an iPhone 4, valued at $299, had been left in the women’s restroom.  Upon returning to the restroom, the complainant found the phone to have been stolen.

*7:54 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 63-year-old Robert Lee Danner of Cross Plains after he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend, by chasing her and knocking her to the pavement during an argument.  Both subjects had been separated on a previous call about 20 minutes prior to this incident; however Danner returned to the residence, the report states.  Danner was charged with assault causes bodily injury family violence.

*11:03 PM – Brownwood Police responded to 2700 Memorial Park Drive regarding a terroristic threat.  According to the report, a known male suspect threatened to kill another person’s family.  The complainant wished to pursue criminal charges against the suspect when he is located, the report states.

*11:53 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Good Shepherd Drive regarding a hit and run accident.  According to the report, the front bumper, grill and hood area of the complainant’s vehicle was damaged in the incident.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 29-year-old Jose Abelino Arellano of Santa Anna on three warrants related to disregard official traffic control device, driving while license invalid and violate promise to appear.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Stephen Kyle Armstrong of Garrison on two warrants for motion to revoke/possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2-A greater than 2 ounces less than  or equal to 4 ounces (Brown County) and failure to appear (Dawson County).

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40-year-old James Luther Butler of Corsicana on a Brown County warrant related to failure to appear/possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 41-year-old Kenneth Michael Holmes of Early on a warrant related to motion to revoke/driving while intoxicated.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Manuel Rodriguez of Uvalde on a warrant related to driving while intoxicated.
