Wednesday, August 31

*12:37 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2800 block of Avenue E regarding a report of fraud involving a fraudulent or forged check.

*2:54 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2600 block of Crockett Drive regarding an assault.

*4:38 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding an assault by threat to a family member.  According to the report, the complainant stated that an ex-boyfriend had threatened to kill her.  An investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*9:37 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy checked the welfare of the drivers of two vehicles which were pulled over on the side of the road in the 6300 block of CR 267.  According to the report, the deputy observed one of the drivers, as he exited his vehicle, toss what appeared to be a beer bottle under his car.  After further investigation, Jason Lee Bishop was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated 3rd or more.

Thursday, September 1

*8:47 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of E. Commerce regarding theft of property.  According to the report, the complainant alleged that prescription medication was stolen by an employee who was carrying out groceries to the complainant’s car.  An investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*4:08 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 600 block of Melwood regarding criminal mischief.

*9:52 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Sharp Street regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, officers met with the complainant in a safe location and the incident was documented.

*12:35 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 2600 block of US Hwy 377 South.  According to the report, this call led to the issuance of a citation to the driver for possession of drug paraphernalia.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44-year-old Rosetta Ivery of Brownwood on a warrant related to debit/credit card abuse.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Shaw Swanson of Brownwood.

Friday, September 2

*12:16 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Parkway Avenue.  According to the report, this stop led to the arrest of 26-year-old Roberto Sanchez of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated.
