Wednesday, September 14
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy received a report of a rubbish pile on a complainant’s property. According to the report, a possible suspect has been identified and the situation was documented. An investigation is ongoing, the report states.
Thursday, September 15
*6:04 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on Roanoke Avenue in Brownwood regarding a report of theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that her daughter’s four wheeler had been taken from her front porch without her consent. Possible suspects were named, the report states.
*Brownwood Police arrested 40-year-old Daniel Luis Hernandez of Brownwood on warrants related to evading arrest/detention with vehicle and order enforcing child support. Hernandez was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond as of Friday morning.
*Brownwood Police arrested 53-year-old Ronald Charles Tackett of Brady, Texas on a warrant related to a parole violation.
*37-year-old Zane Lamour Zabel of Brownwood turned himself in on a warrant related to failure to appear/driving while intoxicated.Friday, September 16
*10:00 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy took a report via phone call for terroristic threat. According to the report, the victim stated a known suspect threatened to harm him. The case is still under investigation, the report states.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on County Road 550 regarding a harassment report and investigation. According to the report, the complainant advised that her ex-boyfriend had been contacting her for the last 2 weeks and had also contacted many of her family members and friends, threatening the complainant and the friends/family members.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of harassment from a property on FM 1849. According to the report, the complainant stated a known male subject was harassing and threatening the complainant over the use of the easement to his property. the male was subsequently issued a criminal trespass warning for the complainant’s property.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the Brown County Jail in reference to assault on a public servant. According to the report, two jailers were moving an inmate who refused to cooperate with the transfer to another cell. The inmate was identified as Derin Fortner. Fortner was subsequently tased without effect and the jailers had to physically restrain Fortner in order to move him, the report states. During this use of force the two jailer sustained minor injuries, according to the report.
*Brownwood Police arrested 26-year-old David Nestor Acosta Alvarez of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram. Alvarez was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond as of Friday morning.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Kerissa Kay Bell of May, Texas on warrants related to possession of marijuana greater than 2 ounces less than 4 ounces and unauthorized absence community correction facility.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40-year-old David Ernest Tucknott of Brownwood on warrants related to failure to appear/aggravated assault, failure to appear/continuous violence against family, and public intoxication. Tucknott was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of warrants totaling more than $160,000.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 38-year-old Katrina Leann White of Eddy, Texas on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/delivery of a controlled substance in a drug free zone. White was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bond as of Monday.
Saturday, September 17
*8:54 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to an address on Oak Point Drive regarding an assault. According to the report, the deputy arrived on scene and made contact with the victim, who said her boyfriend had assaulted her. After an investigation, 45-year-old Horace Edgar McMahon, Jr. of May, Texas was arrested and charged with assault causes bodily injury family violence.
*7:49 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy responded to North US Hwy 183 regarding a reckless driver traveling from May, Texas. The deputy observed silver 2003 Honda 4 door car driving at a high rate of speed matching the reckless vehicle description and initiated a traffic stop. The driver, identified as 52-year-old Thu Ngoc Ngo of Arlington, Texas, was subsequently arrested for driving while license invalid-enhanced.
*Brownwood Police arrested 19-year-old Devin Kyle Brumbelow of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated.
*Brownwood Police arrested 42-year-old April Butler-Otero of Brownwood on a warrant related to theft by check.
Sunday, September 18
*4:51 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy responded to the 3800 block of Highway 279 regarding a suspicious vehicle. According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 23-year-old Zachary Omar Quinteros of Brownwood for public intoxication.
*6:48 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding his late mother’s vehicle being stolen. An investigation is ongoing, the report states.
*Bangs Police arrested 24-year-old Jimmy Ladale Allison of Bangs, Texas for assault causes bodily injury.
*21-year-old Saber West Fraley of Rising Star turned himself in for surety withdrawals related to possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone and possession of marijuana in a drug free zone and warrants related to violate promise to appear, minor consume alcoholic beverage and open container.
