Monday, September 14

*10:48 AM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding fraud.  According to the report, a known male subject has been using the complainant’s debit card without the owner’s permission.

*12:17 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2100 block of 13th Street regarding a false report to a police officer.  According to the report, the complainant had reported his vehicle having been involved in a hit and run accident, causing significant damage to the complainant’s vehicle.  An investigation is ongoing, the report states.

Tuesday, September 15

*1:23 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2500 block of Morris Shepherd Drive regarding theft.  According to the report, a resident of a local nursing home stated that a nurse had stolen sixteen Hydrocodone 10-325 pills on September 14, 2015 before 10:40 PM.  An investigation is ongoing, the report states.

Wednesday, September 16

*7:15 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of Avenue B, Coggin Elementary, regarding the burglary of a building.  According to the report, stolen property was recovered and returned.  An investigation is ongoing, the report states.

Thursday, September 17

*9:25 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to a property on Seabreeze Drive in May.  According to the report, the complainant stated that his prescription medication and two wedding rings were stolen from his residence.  A suspect has been named, the report states.

*11:49 Am – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to a restaurant on N. Hwy 279 regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, an employee reported that someone had broken a window of the building.

*12:34 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding credit card or debit card abuse.  According to the report, someone had used the credit/debit cards or numbers belonging to the church without consent and had made purchases at a Target store in Austin, Texas.

* 7:45 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Main Street regarding a hit and run accident.

*7:50 PM –A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy responded to a residence on Brook Valley Drive regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, the residence had been broken into between September 12th and September 17th, when multiple electronics were taken.  The burglary was discovered by a house sitter.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 59-year-old Billy Paul Casselberry of Coleman on a warrant related to driving while intoxicated/open alcoholic container.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Yajaira Alejandra Lugo of Brownwood on multiple warrants related to failure to appear, no liability insurance, no driver’s license, unsafe speed, driving while license invalid and failure to maintain financial responsibility.

Friday, September 18

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 41-year-old Cynthia Dolores Marshall of Blanket on warrants related to prohibited weapon knuckles and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams.  Marshall was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $14,500 as of Friday morning.
