Monday, September 16
*8:06 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 4600 block of Kay Drive regarding the theft of a license plate.
*12:49 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant regarding the burglary of a vehicle.
*3:27 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Austin Avenue regarding two subjects needing to be trespassed from the property. According to the report, criminal trespass warnings were issued to the subjects.
*4:22 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2100 block of 9th Street regarding fraudulent use of identifying information.
*8:00 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the residence of an off duty Early Police officer regarding a forged U.S. twenty dollar bill. The BPD officer took possession of the forged currency, the report states.
Tuesday, September 17
*8:25 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of 2nd Street regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that a friend who had stopped by for a brief visit had allegedly taken an internet tablet from the residence.
*8:32 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 2000 block of Southside Drive. During the stop, the officer received consent from the driver to search the vehicle for the presence of narcotics, resulting in the discovery of a quantity of marijuana and a controlled substance. The driver, identified as 21-year-old Juan Jose Mendoza, was arrested for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces in a drug free zone and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams in a drug free zone.
*11:24 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1300 block of Durham Avenue regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, the complainant stated that her ex-husband, 46-year-old Jerry Dean Alldredge, assaulted her. Alldredge admitted to the assault and was arrested and charged with class C assault, the report states.
*12:05 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding fraud. According to the report, the complainant stated that he had received a letter in the mail which contained a check and a document requesting he cash the check and return a portion of it to the sender. The check was determined to be fraudulent, the report states.
*1:13 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1400 block of Coggin Avenue regarding child abuse or neglect. According to the report, a 2-year-old child had walked into a convenience store without the presence of an adult. During the investigation, the grandmother of the child was located at a different location. An active report was generated regarding the incident.
*1:45 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of 3rd Street regarding the theft of a dog from the residence.
*3:02 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Davis Lane regarding a one vehicle accident where the vehicle fled the scene. The vehicle was located in the 500 block of Sycamore as well as the driver identified as 18-year-old Blayne Scott Craig. After an investigation, Craig was arrested and charged with failure to comply with duty on striking fixture/highway landscape equal or less than $200.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the burglary of a habitation on County Road 411 West. According to the report, there were numerous items stolen from the complainant’s property.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 23-year-old Tobias Gonzales of Austin for possession of marijuana.
*38-year-old Courtney Hudson Lockett turned herself in on a warrant related to tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Jason Rosas of Fort Worth on indictments related to money laundering equal or greater than $20,000 less than $100,000, engaging in organized criminal activity – theft, and possession of a controlled substance.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old James Bryan Schlegelmilch on a warrant related to possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 1 gram less than 4 grams.
*Early Police arrested 27-year-old John Cody Vian on a warrant for forgery of financial instrument.
Wednesday, September 18
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Sunshine Sliger on warrants related to driving while intoxicated and failure to appear.
