Monday, September 14

*A Brown County Sheriff’s sergeant took a report of criminal mischief to a Texas Department of Transportation owned maintainer.  According to the report, a glass bottle had been thrown through the back window.  There are no suspects to list at this time, the report states.

Tuesday, September 15

*5:27 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to CR 136 regarding criminal trespassing.  According to the report, the owner had gone to check on her property and noticed someone had put sheep on the property.  There were also other signs of people having been on the property, the report states.  The owner did not give permission for anyone to be on the property or to put any livestock on the property, according to the report.

Wednesday, September 16

*4:48 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the area of 6th Street and Avenue J regarding disorderly conduct by breach of the peace.  This call led to the arrest of 40-year-old Danny Salas of Brownwood on charges of Possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram; resist arrest, search or transport; disorderly conduct and disorderly conduct by breach of the peace.

*5:55 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of N. Main regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, a witness identified the suspect and provided the suspect’s license plate number.  During the incident, an unknown amount of over-the-counter and prescription drugs was stolen and the complainant wished to pursue criminal charges, the report states.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the intersection of Hwy 279 North and FM 2492 regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the complainant stated he had parked a Suburban belonging to his friend on his lot and someone had shot the windshield and the front driver window. The owner of the vehicle was contacted by phone and wanted to pursue charges if a suspect it located, the report states. The value of the damage was estimated at approximately $500, according to the report.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 54-year-old Ricky Dean Reed of Blanket on warrants related to failure to appear/intoxication assault and bail jumping and failure to appear.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Shazzity Denise Scott of Midland on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/credit card or debit card abuse.

Thursday, September 17

*2:13 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of E. Commerce.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 25-year-old Nico Cesar Villarreal of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated 3rd or more and driving while license invalid.  Villarreal was transported to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center where a blood draw was performed, then transported to the Brown County Jail, the report states.
