Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Friday, September 17, 2010
Wednesday, September 8
*A Brownwood Police officer received a report of theft of a laptop computer in the 2600 block of Vincent. According to the report, the theft occurred in January of 2010 and was not reported stolen until September 8th. An investigation was opened at that time.
Saturday, September 11
*3:28pm-A Brownwood Police officer noted a damaged vehicle while on patrol. It was legally parked. According to the report the damaged vehicle appeared to have been struck by a vehicle traveling north on 7th Street. At the time of the report no suspect information was available.
Thursday, September 16
*3:22pm-According to Brownwood Police records, a BPD detective purchased 2 pills for $60.00 from two individuals in Brownwood. The suspects were identified as 33-year-old Misty Dawn Hamilton Kluza and 42-year-old Randall Dale Ward, Jr. Kluza and Ward were each charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, penalty grade 1, less than 1g.
*3:51pm-A complainant came to BPD to report the theft of a weed eater and an air conditioning unit from the 1000 block of W. Commerce. An investigation led to the identification of a suspect and recovery of the property the report states.
*3:58pm-A Brownwood Police officer responded to a gas station in the 400 block of W. Commerce in reference to a gas drive off. According to police reports, a suspect information and video evidence was obtained for further investigation.
*4:02pm-Brownwood police responded to the 100 block of Southpark Drive in reference to an unwanted person. Further information gathered led to the arrest of 41-year-old Cory Paul Byers for Public Intoxication.
*8:21pm-Brownwood Police responded to a report of criminal mischief in the 500 block of E. Commerce. At the scene the officer met with the complainant and spoke to several witnesses the report states. Photos were taken of the damaged vehicle for further investigation.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 22-year-old Billy Daniel Cavness for Possession of Marijuana, less than 2oz.; No Seat Belt; and No Insurance.
Friday, September 17
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jarrod Heath Jordan for Assault Causing Bodily Injury Family Violence.
All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
